Hi, I'm Caz Jenkins and I'm an Associate Member of the ICB. I like to get to know other members as I love meeting people. Before I started my bookkeeping business, I worked for Revenue Customs so I am used to dealing with taxes, and sorting out peoples' records even if they are incomplete. I learned Bookkeeping through a correspondance course with Open Learning but could not afford to pay for all the courses needed to set up in practice. So I taught myself manual Level 2 bookkeeping and Self Assessment Tax returns from the ICB text books and the Self Assessment tax returns help sheets on the Revenue and Customs website.
I already have two clients so far. One is a courier the other runs an antique/second hand furniture and clothes shop.
I've gained much satisfaction from helping these two clients with their records and taxes and saving them both money. I'm looking forward to what the future brings.
